The Weapons Technician (WT) rating was a United States Navy rating for enlisted personnel established in 1986. It was disestablished in 1995 concurrent with the removal of tactical nuclear weapons from the fleet3. The WT rating was responsible for duties related to weapons and ammunition handling and maintenance on naval vessels.
